RBI Assistant Exam Eligibility Criteria 2022

Candidates must be between the ages of 20 and 28 to apply for the RBI Assistant 2022 Exam. There is, however, a relaxation in the upper age limit for candidates who fall into certain categories.

Education Qualifications:-

1. The candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks. Pass class marks are also sufficient for SC/ST/PWD candidates to apply for the exam.


2. An ex-serviceman must be a graduate of any government-recognized university, have passed matriculation, or have passed an Armed Forces Examination, and have served in the defence forces for at least 15 years.


3. If a candidate is applying from a specific state or region, he or she should be able to read, write, and speak the regional language of that region. This is one of the most important Eligibility Criteria, and it is commonly referred to as the Language Proficiency Test (LPT). This test is usually given in the official/local language of the state in question. Candidates who are unable to communicate in the official/local language will be disqualified.


4. Candidates in their final semester/year of graduation may also apply provisionally, with the understanding that if called for an interview/joining, they must provide proof of having passed the Graduation Examination on or before December 1st, 2019.


5. Candidates must also be computer literate.


RBI Assistant Exam 2022-Selection Process

The RBI Assistant 2022 Recruitment process is divided into two stages. Finally, the candidates must pass a language proficiency test. You will be disqualified if you fail this test. The two stages of the selection process are as follows:

  1. Preliminary Examination

  2. Main Examination


The Preliminary exam is divided into three sections: Reasoning, English Language, and Numerical Ability. The exam is worth 100 points.


The mains exam is divided into five sections. They are reasoning ability, numerical ability, general awareness, English language knowledge, and computer knowledge. The total number of marks available for the exam is 200.

1. Keep track of office files, ledger balances, receipts, accounts, and so on.

2. Branch transaction data entry work.

3. Accountability for currency circulation and related issues

4. Respond to RTI requests as well as e-mails

5. The verification of bank documents is effective.

6. Coordination of higher-level officials' work

7. Government treasury works and financial stability maintenance

8. The offices are only open five days a week.
