CTET Salary Scale
As we all know, CTET is the prerequisite for applying for any govt./state teaching position. The Cabinet Committee recently increased the Dearness Allowance, HRA for Central Government Teachers, and Dearness Relief for pensioners, effective July 1, 2022. The Dearness Allowance for Central Government Teachers has been increased to 31 percent. With the increased rate of DA, KVS has also increased the rate of HRA, which will be 27 percent, 18 percent, and 9 percent for X, Y, and Z class cities, effective July 1, 2022.
CTET Salaries in 2022 (For PRT)
Candidates who are hired as primary teachers receive a pay scale of Rs. 9,300 – Rs. 34,800, with a grade pay of Rs. 4,200 and a basic salary of Rs. 13,500. Other benefits available to primary teachers include house rent allowance, transportation allowance, and others. Following the 7th pay commission, the salary of a CTET qualified primary teacher ranges from Rs. 35,000 to Rs. 37,000.
CTET Salaries in 2022 ( For PGT)
The postgraduate teachers' grade pay is Rs. 4,800, with a basic salary of Rs. 18,150. With the additional benefits of house rent allowance, transportation allowance, and others, the candidate earns a monthly net salary of Rs. 46,000 to Rs. 48,000.

Scope After Passing the CTET Exam 2022
The CTET Exam 2022 is required to apply for government teaching jobs. If you qualified for this exam with a high percentage of marks, you will have a good chance of being accepted into both public and private schools.
1. If you pass the CTET exam, you can apply for primary teacher, TGT, and PGT positions in Central Government Schools such as Kendriya Vidyalaya, DSSSB, and Navodaya Samiti Schools.

Eligibility for CTET in the Reserved Category
CTET Reservation Criteria allow candidates to be accommodated based on their caste. Candidates from reserved categories such as Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC), and Differently Abled Sections are given a 5% reduction in qualifying marks.
CTET 2022 Nationality Criteria
Nationality is the most important criterion for considering CTET applicants' applications. The higher authorities look at the candidate's nationality first and will proceed with the candidate to the next round. The candidate must be an Indian citizen or meet one of the criteria listed below.
1. A citizen from Nepal
2. A citizen from Bhutan
3. A Tibetian who arrived in India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India.
4. Candidates who have migrated from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Ethiopia, Vietnam, or Burma with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Other CTET Eligibility Parameters
1. Only NCTE-accredited diploma/degree programmes in teacher education will be considered. However, for Special Educations such as the Diploma in Education and B.ED., a course recognised by RCT will be considered.
2. Following the appointment, a person with a Diploma in Education (D.Ed.) should participate in a training programme.
3. All of the above-mentioned teachers are eligible to apply to languages such as Social Science, Science, and Math.
4. Candidates for the CTET Exam must be enrolled in one of the teacher education programmes listed in the NCTE recruitment process notification.
5. Candidates must be eligible to apply for the exam and will be held personally liable if they do not meet the eligibility requirements.
